The Elite 370 SDi Servo Die Cut Inspection Slitter Rewinder, takes narrow web rotary die cutting and converting to the very highest level, the machine offers extremely high standards both in flexibility and performance.
The servo die cutting inspection slitter rewinder, is equipped with an electromagnetic particle unwind braking system and an ultrasonic sensor which automatically calculates the amount of brake tension required, the unwind and rewind have separate variable tension control systems.
The draw roll is servo driven and controlled through a motion controller with the very latest servo technology allowing dynamic performance with great accuracy of positioning, speed and torque control, a HMI operator interface incorporates constant diagnostics and machine status, The SDI automatically decelerates and stops when the programmed length in metres/ labels is achieved, servo technology enables very precise results. Whilst the machine is in idle mode the web is automatically held in low torque mode, allowing quick and simple core replacement.
The robust rotary die cutting unit offers excellent access due to the machines unique design, our easy load die station enables the operator to load dies with very little effort required, the dies are loaded horizontally and not vertically as with most conventional die cutting equipment, the die station has been designed to accommodate most styles of dies i.e Nilpeter, Gallus, MarkAndy, MPS, Focus, etc.
